Terms of use

1. Acceptance

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website or purchase products. Additional policies — including our Privacy Policy and Research Use Policy — form part of your agreement with us.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your Canadian province or territory (typically 19+; 18+ where applicable) and capable of forming a binding contract. Products are intended for qualified researchers, laboratories, and institutions. By ordering, you represent that you are purchasing for legitimate laboratory or research use and will handle materials lawfully.

3. Research-only products

• Products are research chemicals / laboratory supplies, not medicines or consumer health products
• Not for human or animal administration, clinical use, or diagnostic procedures involving patients
• We do not provide medical advice, personal dosing guidance, or therapeutic protocols
• Website content is for informational and research context only and does not constitute an endorsement of any off-label or unauthorized use
• You are solely responsible for compliance with Canadian federal and provincial law, institutional policies, and safe laboratory practice

4. Orders, pricing, and payment

Product listings, prices, and availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, non-compliant with research-use requirements, or otherwise improper.

Your cart is stored locally in your browser until you complete checkout. Placing an order submits a request to purchase research materials at the prices and shipping rates shown. A binding purchase is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order and receipt of payment. Prices are listed in CAD. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Sales tax (GST/HST) is not currently collected at checkout; if tax collection becomes applicable, we will update pricing displays and these Terms.

5. Shipping

Shipping timelines are estimates. Same-day dispatch applies to qualifying paid orders before 12 PM EST on business days when stock allows. Risk of loss passes according to the carrier terms applicable to your shipment. See Shipping for current Canada Post options and rates.

6. Returns and refunds

Because products are specialized research materials, returns may be limited. Unopened items reported as incorrect or damaged in transit should be reported promptly to info@pepchain.ca with order details and photos where relevant. We may offer replacement or refund at our discretion for verified shipping errors or damaged goods. Opened materials are generally non-returnable except where required by law.

7. Intellectual property

Site content — including text, branding, logos, layout, and product imagery (except where third-party rights apply) — is owned by PepChain Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or commercially reuse site content without prior written permission, except for ordinary viewing and personal research reference.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site or products for unlawful purposes
• Misrepresent your identity, age, or research qualifications
• Attempt to disrupt site security, scrape data at scale without permission, or introduce malware
• Repackage or resell products in a manner that implies consumer therapeutic use

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPCHAIN INC. DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that products will meet your experimental outcomes or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, PepChain Inc.’s total liability arising out of or relating to the site or any product purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost research time or data, even if advised of the possibility.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PepChain Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of products, violation of these Terms, or unlawful handling or resale of materials.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada and the province in which PepChain Inc. principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in that province shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.

13. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
